چکیده
We present a mathematical model to decompose longitudinal deformation into normal and abnormal components. The goal is detect extract subtle from periodic motions in video sequence. It has important applications medical image analysis. To achieve this goal, we consider representation of the deformation, called Beltrami descriptor, based on quasiconformal theories. descriptor complex-valued matrix. Image retargeting via Beltrami representation
Image retargeting aims to resize an image to one with a prescribed aspect ratio. Simple scaling inevitably introduces unnatural geometric distortions on the important content of the image. In this paper, we propose a simple and yet effective method to resize an image, which preserves the geometry of the important content, using the Beltrami representation. Our algorithm allows users to interact...
متن کاملImage Processing via the Beltrami Operator
We present a framework for enhancing images while pre serving either the edge or the orientation dependent texture informa tion present in them We do this by treating images as manifolds in a feature space This geometrical interpretation leads to a natural way for grey level color movies volumetric medical data and color texture im age enhancement Following this we invoke the Polyakov action fr...
متن کاملDeformations via Dimension Theory
We show that standard arguments for deformations based on dimension counts can also be applied over a (not necessarily Noetherian) valuation ring A of rank 1. Key intermediate results are a principal ideal theorem for schemes of finite type over A, and a theorem on subadditivity of intersection codimension for schemes smooth over A.
متن کاملFacile synthesis of Ni/NiO nanocomposites via thermal decomposition
In this study, Ni/NiO nanocomposites were prepared using simple, environment-friendly and low-cost solid-state thermal decomposition method from nickel (II) Schiff base complex at 400 and 500°C for 3 hours. The Ni/NiO nanocomposites were characterized with Fourier transformed infra-red spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and X-Ray fluores...
